Dr. Sweet cares about you like family!
Physical activity in nature was a way of life in childhood with my mom as a competitive runner and my dad as an outdoor enthusiast.
In high school, I fell in love with helping children through volunteer work with Special Olympics and a swimming program for kids with disabilities at Rosemary Center.
An active life eventually morphed into a career as a Physical Therapist with a steadfast passion to be a catalyst for healthy movement. (Thank you to The Ohio State University and the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences!)
For the past 20 years, I’ve specialized in developing exceptional specialty physical therapy programs for children with cerebral palsy, autism, and all disabilities.
Over the last decade, my skillset grew even further with an additional license as an Intervention Specialist and RESNA certification as an Assistive Technology Professional.
I’ve served children with the most complex physical and learning needs in some amazing places for over two decades.
In the last few years, my heart tugged me in a new direction. I wanted to make a difference with some unique ideas to help children live their best lives.
That’s when Thrive Sweet Physical Therapy & Wellness, LLC came alive!
It is pure joy to provide top-notch services based on what a child truly needs. And it is privilege to closely collaborate with families who know their child better than anyone! I treat you like family.
That’s the Thrive Sweet difference!
We provide outpatient pediatric physical therapy with "mobile services", meaning we come to you!
We are an approved "POLR Provider" for the Ohio Early Intervention program.
